                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES TO
                   EXECUTE A CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
                   OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE AND HALCYON, LTD.
                   FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES TO
                   COMPILE A REPORT FOR A REDEVELOPMENT
                   STRATEGY FOR THE KIRKMAN SCHOOL SITE AT A
                   TOTAL COST NOT TO EXCEED $59,500 PLUS
                   EXPENSES, $50,000 OF WHICH WILL BE PAID BY
                   THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AND THE BALANCE OF
                   WHICH WILL BE REIMBURSED TO THE CITY OR PAID
                   BY THE RIVERCITY CO.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of General Services be and is hereby authorized to execute a
       contract by and between the City of Chattanooga, Tennessee and
       Halcyon, Ltd. for professional consulting services to compile a
       report for a redevelopment strategy for the Kirkman School Site 
at
       a total cost not to exceed $59,500 plus expenses, $50,000 of 
which
       will be paid by the City of Chattanooga and the balance of which
       will be reimbursed to the City or paid by the Rivercity Co.  A
       copy of the Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein
       by reference.
